Sensitivity

He asked me if
I liked Solange.
I said, quote this:
“Is that a thing
you put in your hair?”

He looked at me,
a blank stare,
then pulled out
his wood chair.

The chimes jingled.
A waitress cleaned.

I guess we’re all sensitive,
but some show it more prominently.
